Tomstrails GPS provides a comprehensive and efficient depiction of your location using globally recognized map coordinates.

GRID FORMATS

British Grid: Utilized by Ordnance Survey in Great Britain.
Irish Grid: Used by Ordnance Survey in Ireland.
MGRS (Military Grid Reference System)
UTM: Implemented worldwide with both the WGS-84 datum and ED50 in select parts of Europe.
Latitude & Longitude: available in decimal and sexagesimal notation.

EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE

Tomstrails GPS intelligently manages the frequency of position updates based on battery charge and travel speed, ensuring you have ample charge to make important calls at the end of the day. This feature is especially beneficial for multi-day trips. Additionally, the GPS function is automatically disabled when the app runs in the background.
